Since the young age of 13, Judaea Evans has been the neighborhood's youngest hairstylist. Growing up in Hollis, Queens, doing hair was the best way for her to make money. Her grandmother was a mother of 14 people, and there wasn't always enough money to go around. Her grandmother, Gloria Dallas, had her doing her hair at the age of 9, and she learned from then on how to maintain a healthy scalp.

At the age of 15, she did video shoots for Mary J. Blige, and throughout her career, she has worked with other celebrities, from Wale to Ashanti. She has also worked at NYC Fashion Week, numerous hair companies, and collaborations with VH1 and many others.
She has also formulated her own haircare line named Juju Juice Haircare.

She joked with a client one day and said, "Hey lady, your hair is too dry. You need some Juju Juice Growth Oil to help protect and maintain healthy hair during and after protective styles."
